Pings are not being detected

Hello. I currently running a palette plus with 0.2 size nozzle on my Ender 5 Plus. The pings are not being detected by the palette even though the printer is pausing over the transition tower as it should. The prints go well until about 60%. Over time because there is no feedback at all, the colors gradually start to transition at incorrect times after about 60% or 24 hrs into the print. Could this be a firmware issue? I just updated the firmware to the latest through Chroma. Thank you!

Hey Drew, this may be an overall calibration issue. Could you please re-calibrate your P+ and see if your prints improve?

Also, are you getting any pings, or none whatsoever?

Thanks Jonny for your response. This actually started happening right after I ran the calibration print. I am getting 0 pings. the Palette+ is not showing any at all, only pongs.

Thanks for sharing. I would suggest trying to re-calibrate if that's the case. I would also ensure that when you're loading the initial filament, you stop the moment that you see any color appear from your printer's nozzle.

Hello Jonny. I just did the calibration print again as well as doing the test keychain. The keychain turned out with the correct color changes but no pings were detected. Pings were detected and at close to 100%

@amp7506 Did you do a factory reset before re-running the keychain? mm3d.co/calibration-troubleshooting

A factory reset on the palette? The software was a fresh install, I had never used it before on that computer. I am also using a 0.2 nozzle if that would make any difference? I will post a picture of the filament path

My apologies, I forgot that this was with a Palette+ instead of a Palette 2. Taking a look at your setup, is Palette's tubing connected to your extruder? I see that you're using the shorter tube, but I would suggest using the longer teflon so that you can connect it directly to your extruder using the clip. If the filament is not constrained, it can definitely cause calibration issues.
