Hey @tang8555, please refer to the email I sent you which requires me to gather more information to troubleshoot this issue. Unfortunately, the CANVAS projects you shared do not include the model, so I cannot assess your keychain project. I would also need your full ping data ([http://mm3d.co/connected-pings|instructions to download here]), as well as photos of your Palette and printer setup, with a focus on the filament entering the extruder, with the extruder clip. Please send this information in the email I sent you and we can go from there. Thanks for your patience.

Hi @tang8555, I’m sorry to hear that. We do think that with a thorough extruder calibration and splice tuning, you would see much better results. Unfortunately, we do not allow returns. You can read more about our return policy [http://mm3d.co/p2-warranty|here]. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns, or if you would like to continue working on this - I’m happy to help. Although you did provide photos of the pings on the Hub page, I do need the full ping data for your most recent print, you can find [http://mm3d.co/connected-pings|the instructions to download the ping data here]. Please email it to me at alina@mosaicmfg.com - thanks!

Thank you for the clarification. If you are curious as to why the information is different between prints (i.e. keychain 185 and 189), this is because every time you reset Palette to factory defaults and start a new calibration print, the loading process is different. You may have stopped extruding earlier or later, which changes your loading offset, which then changes how many pings you can see. The pings themselves can be different every time, depending on how your printer extruded. Your loading offset (distance from Palette to your printer) seems to be very large, which is why you’re only seeing a couple of pings. Most of the splicing is done before the filament is even extruded, so the remaining pings are ignored by Palette since pings are only relevant when splices need to be made. We still suggest the following steps to improve your prints and experience:[br]

[br]

1. Finish the extruder calibration process, including the extrusion multiplier, so that your printer is extruding consistently. Palette needs to be able to predict how much filament your printer is extruding in order to create the accurate lengths of filament for future layers.[br]

2. Make sure the bed is level (in keychain 185, your initial pings were low and then got high, which is a sign that your nozzle was too close to the bed initially, causing under extrusion, reflected as a low ping).[br]

3. Make sure the filament is always constrained in a tube on the way to the extruder. You have an area where the filament is free - this can cause the filament to be pulled inconsistently, reflected as variation in pings. [br]

4. Change your setup to use the smallest tube (500 mm). Since you already have the extra Bowden path for your filament to go through, you want to make the outgoing tube is as short as possible to make calibration easier.
